Program description: Ages 1-5: kinder prep. All lessons will be interactive and focused on tackling basic skills needed for success in school. We will also focus out time building excellent social skills and encouraging more physical activity. The schedule for this group age will be very similar to that of the regular school year. For detailed information please reference our parent handbook.
Ages 6 and up: We will be incorporating learning packets that are appropriate for school grade level and age. These will be completed on a weekly basis and will act as supplements to our regular activity schedule. Our goal is to help our young students retain lessons learned though out the year and receive tutoring in the areas they may be struggling in.
We will also be taking frequent trips to our local library where we will be participating in a youth program that promotes excellent literacy skills. The children will also be participating in daily tasks such as helping to serve food or helping prepare an activity. These simple tasks can help the children learn responsibility and encourage the children to feel independent.
